I wanted a puck-style bulb that wouldn't glare, and this one's opal shell diffuses the light beautifully. Fits nicely in my small ceiling fixture and the warm-white glow is really cozy for reading.

The opal shell makes the warm light so soft and uniform that my whole room feels cozy without any harsh glare. It screwed right into my old lamp with zero fuss.

I swapped out the old bulb in my desk lamp for this little puck, and it casts such a nice, even glow without any harsh shadows. The opal shell really does make a difference—the light feels soft and warm, not glaring.
